Mountain House High School DECA Chapter's 2024 MiniComp

The Mountain House High School DECA chapter has truly outdone itself at the 2024 MiniComp, showcasing the dedication and enthusiasm of its members. With 250 attendees, MiniComp was more than just a competition; it fostered a sense of community and encouraged personal growth among competitors at Mountain House High. Students took part in various DECA events (Figure 1 and Figure 2) designed to test their business knowledge and 21st century thinking skills. MiniComp offered members a valuable opportunity to progress as business leaders before their next conference: Northern California Regionals!

NorCal State officers helped operations ran smoothly; California State DECA President Diya Jain and Founder/CEO of Prolific Hoops Coach JP were featured in the MiniComp Speaker Series, encouraging students to push their limits by speaking on personal branding and entrepreneurship (Figure 3).

MHHS DECA is proud to announce that 143 members qualified for the upcoming NorCal conference. This achievement speaks volumes about the relentless efforts of MHHS DECA’s, the State, and the District officer teams (Figure 4).

Looking back on this memorable event, MHHS DECA would like to extend their thanks to chapter advisors, Mrs. Cristin Caldwell and Dr. Kerry Moquett, alumni, judges, and sponsors. MHHS DECA is excited for the upcoming conference and is ready to prepare the next generation of emerging business leaders.
